ON to BRIAN COLE'S STORY as told to CBN

Brian's 33 years of pain and rage took root as a short kid abused by his father.  "I hated people, I hated my father and if I couldn't use you, you meant nothing," said Brian.  "I didn't want to be at home, church or in school" and was told, "You're a nobody, sinner and going to hell."

As Brian's stealing and school fights escalated, Brian's search for acceptance surfaced in high school from kids who reached out with cigarettes, support and friendship. Brian was all in. "They stuck up for me and I remember saying, 'Now It's my turn'."

Yet, Dorothy, Brian's Mom knew he was headed downhill and told him,  "No matter what you do, you're not going to  turn my love away from you."            

Not long after, Brian's reputation spread as a "big time drug addict selling marijuana, porn," and a thief "stealing sound equipment from churches and trashing places.  I loved it," Brian said, and "loved that people were scared of me."

After his arrest for selling pot, Brian moved from psych wards, to group homes and treatment centers as his theft and drug sale binges continued. At 18,  Brian aged out of treatment programs and faced more problems through a sting operation.

Sentenced to 10 years of prison for burglarizing 250 homes, Brian was locked in maximum security, hooked on speed and LSD, and dove into satanism.

Still craving control, Brian said, "Even the guards were afraid of me, which fed my ego." 

After his release, Brian was arrested again and sentenced to another 12 years for shooting a man his girlfriend was seeing.

After his release, Brian was introduced to meth and was soon addicted.  Now 40 years old, Brian was behind bars again.  "I just didn't want to live anymore," he said.

Yet, Brian's mom would not stop praying. "It was hard because there was one thing after another," she said. 

Brian's desperation led him to a faith based drug and

alcohol program. "I needed a bible to do the homework," said Brian, which led to truth and freedom.

"Our homework was a fill in the blanks from scripture and I stumbled on the verse, 'purge me with hyssop and I shall be clean, wash me and I shall be whiter than snow" (Psalm 51:7). 

It blew me away because it was word for word part of the cleansing ritual in the occult," Brian recalled and questioned, "What is this doing here?" 

Brian recalled, "The Lord said, 'you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.' Jesus said, 'I am the way, the truth and the life.' I was reading truth and instead of me filling in the blanks, the Gospel was filling me."

A homework assignment showed Brian the love of his mother and Christ. His assignment? Write someone affected by his addictions. His mother answered Brian with a 13 page response that left Brian weeping at 1 and one half pages.  

"I hurt my mom so much, she wanted to die," said Brian, and it "blew me away that for 33 years my mom never gave up on me." 

Brian's mother recalled, "I never thought I'd see this miracle in my life.  Weeping she said, ". .  . there is a God."

On January 22, 2009 Brian fell to his knees and told God, "I'm all in. use me!"  Renouncing satanism, Brian learned to forgive and be forgiven.  Released from prison in 2010, Brian asked his father to forgive him of his hatred.   His father responded with words Brian heard for the first time in his life, "I love you and forgive you," he said.

Now a husband, father and pastor, Brian' loves "bringing Jesus to those involved in crime, drugs and manipulation."  His ministry continues with Faith Riders Motorcycle Ministry.

Prayers for you. . .  

Father God,  thank you for all who are reading this. Thank you Father for loving them regardless of who they are, where they are or what they've done.  Thank you Father for your love imprinted on them before they were born and that your love has no time stamp  Jeremiah 29:11  

Lord, we agree together right now that their hearts, minds or bodies are restored.
We decree the bodies you lovingly created restored and command all attacks aborted and strength restored to every cell and fiber you created Lord.

For anyone in pain right now, we break its stronghold... and say Holy Spirit touch them right now!

Father, in Jesus name we rebuke, smash and crush strongholds of suicide, self-hatred, addictions of all kinds, fear, self loathing, rage, anger and more.  GO now in Jesus name!  We  Thank you Holy Spirit for the signs, wonders and miracles in their lives in Jesus name. 

We also declare all crooked, empty places in their lives righteously aligned and filled with your loving will according to 1 Peter 2.24.  Lord, we  praise you for "divine encounters"' and help for those in immediate need now. 

We declare any vile strongholds of persecution, possession and obsession loosed and crushed in Jesus name and anything stolen from them, supernaturally returned and restored. Lord, let each person know they were chosen by you for your supernatural love. 

  

We decree protection of life you ordained as your most precious creation Father God and praise you as we celebrate what you celebrate Father God...birthrights.  We declare vile strongholds contrary to your will loosed and smashed in Jesus name. 

Father, we decree your mighty hand of supernatural protection, restoration, and direction for all who are fighting disasters and for those fighting for God given freedoms in nations, cities, provinces, townships and neighborhoods, whether in the air, water or on the ground.  

We decree threats/attacks on freedom of any kind smashed, crushed, and thwarted in Jesus name. 

Lord, with the power and authority you gave us we abort words and schemes of the enemy that divert your perfect will for all we pray for and with. 

And according to Mark 16.20 we praise you for confirming your glorious word with signs, wonders and miracles for them.  

Amen and Amen!
