PARALYSIS AND WHEELCHAIR BOUND NO MORE!

22 Years Later...Healed! 

Following a vicious car crash on Christmas day, Delia Knox lived 22 years in a wheelchair paralyzed from the waist down. Delia recalled, "I believed God would heal me" because people prayed all the time. 

After ten years, Delia tired of being "plopped, dropped, flopped and flipped" during prayer meetings.  Losing hope she said, "I just can't go through that anymore." Then she met Bishop Levy Knox, her future husband, who saw beyond her wheelchair.

Firing Delia's faith, Bishop would lovingly hold her up in front of the mirror and say, "I want you to see yourself standing." Then, Delia added, "He would take me and dance with me as my legs dangled."  

Delia's miracle came during a healing meeting with Pastor Nathan Morris when she walked for the first time in 22 years. 

"I would never have gone if I knew it was a healing meeting," Delia recounted.  "The miracle was my journey in recognizing who God is," she added. "It was like an awakening."

Today, Delia leads worship at Living Word Christian Church where her husband pastors. "Seeing the promises of God fulfilled in front of our eyes," Bishop Knox said, was "beholding and life changing." And dancing is a joy they both share often.

Wheelchair to Walking

At 18 years old, Carlie's dire determination to walk began when she started talking to her body.   "When I realized I could stand and bear weight," she said,  I believed for one step, two steps, then ten."  Carlie refused to sit in the chair again and kept walking.

Carlie was also healed from epilepsy and her daughter Hannah was miraculously healed from  eosinophilic enteropathy, a deadly autoimmune disease.  Check out the complete story of the Terradez family healings here. 

In the words of Carlie Terradez,  "When you  believe God for what you can do right now and a little bit more, faith gains momentum."  

Like Carlie and Delia, I determined to do what I could for the moment when I was so sick I couldn't eat and felt like I had the flu all the time.  Forcing myself,  I began walking 1/2 block at a time, started eating, and praised God while speaking to my body.  

During my healing, I realized how ignorant I was of God's word and dove into healing scriptures and teachers like Barry Bennett, Pastor Greg Mohr, Andrew Wommack all who experienced dramatic healings.  What I learned is that God absolutely craves relationship with us and wants us well!  

I still don't understand everything but in the words of Andrew Wommack, "I've left but I certainly haven't arrived."  Amen!

Prayers for you. . .

Father God, thank you for all  men, women and children who landed here whether intentionally or by accident.  

For those in pain, fear or despair,  I call death and defeat dead and speak resurrection life into their bodies,  hearts, and minds.  I speak, we speak together, supernatural financial resources, jobs and favor  into their lives and  break all bonds contrary to your loving will for them in Jesus name. 

 

Together Father, we call prodigal sons and daughters returned to you according to Isaiah 49:17  so their lives are filled with your loving purpose. Father, we thank you for confirming your word with signs and wonders according to Mark 16:20 and glorifying your love in them, through them and around them in Jesus Name. 

 

Father God, we also thank you for protecting all who fight fires, floods and catastrophic events. As Jesus spoke, we speak to any and all future events and command them to die.  And Father we thank you for those protecting freedoms around the world and speak your divine protection over them. 

 

We praise you Father for your word manifested in all we speak according to your loving will in Jesus Name.
