ON to Julie Mapatano's story as told to AWMI   

HOW does a former refugee fleeing from a deadly dictatorship with her family in war torn Congo, find asylum in the United States, raise 6 children after the sudden death of her husband and return to Congo saving the lives of hundreds of  impoverished starving orphans and abused women? 

Julie's miraculous journey began when she and her husband Isaac fled Congo's oppressive dictatorship. 

Despite horrific challenges during their three day trek on foot from Congo rebels, the Mapatona family found themselves moving from home to home in Kenya "praying for God to

make a way" for our children to live in a place where they had choices and 

freedom, recalled Julie.

Three years later, the Mapatano's answered prayers miraculously came through the United Nations when their family was granted asylum in the United States.  

Landing in Atlanta Georgia, Julie and her husband Isaac gratefully settled in to raise their family of six.  Little did they know Atlanta would be a short stop as God  supernaturally positioned them to receive truth about His unconditional love. 

"All our lives were were taught how to buy the love of God, to fast and walk a certain way" recalled Julie.  

 

Their works mentality changed when  Isaac stumbled on Andrew Wommack's Gospel Truth teaching on the car radio during his work commute to Atlanta.

 "This [good news] is amazing!" he shared with Julie. 

Excited to learn more,  the Mapatanos headed to a Gospel Truth Seminar in Atanta where "we were baptized in the Holy Spirit" and learned "it is a gift for every

believer" said Julie. 

We didn't have to be special or work for it!" she added.  

Isaac and Julie longed for more truth and through God's leading,  left everything behind again, packed up the family and headed to Charis Bible College in Colorado Springs, Colorado. 

"Our dream" was to return to Congo and "tell others the Good News," recalled Julie. 

Tragically the Mapatono's dream was sidelined with Isaac's sudden death a year into bible college.  Yet what the destroyer meant for harm, God turned around with Julie's will to carry on raising her six children and finish college. 

"School was therapy" as I listened to who I am in Christ, said Julie. "The school saved me and gave me liquid love," she added. 

As Julie grew in her identity in Christ, her dream reignited to help the Congolese. Seeking God, she asked, "What do I do with my last tax return?"   

Her answer was clear and the $400.00 she sent to keep 400 kids in school launched her Redeeming Love Ministries.  Today,  Julie supports nearly 500 children with tuition, supplies, medical care, food and clothing.  

We also support "rejected women" and unite them with orphans to form family units, said Julie. 

And as Julie saw more needs, God provided.  Now, resources like housing, pigs, chickens, and Reedeeming Love Gardens helps families sustain themselves.

"Knowing who I am in Christ changed my life completely and even my children know thay have God's favor in their lives."  

And while Charis Bible College saved Julie, "the school saved other people in Congo worse than me" she said and added,   "Jesus is my husband, provider, everything."

Prayers for you. . .  

Lord, as we move through August  

We  thank you Father for being our Savior, Healer and more when you sacrificed your precious son Jesus Christ for each person reading this. I Peter 2 & 24  

 

Thank you Father that your word is alive, sharper than a two-edged sword and knows no time or distance. Hebrews 4:12  

 

 

 

Most of all Father, thank you that you heal hearts, minds, bodies, and  provide divine direction, revelation,  and more for each person reading this. Isaiah 41:13 

Lord, you know what each person needs and we thank you for the authority (Luke 10:19) you gave us to subdue, crush, smash, rebuke reports of all  sickness, poverty, terror, torment, hopelessness because of Jesus sacrifice.  1 Peter 2. 24   Thank you Father that your  light swallows the darkenss. 

 

Father thank you for comforting persons suffering from trauma & loss as we decree supernatural restoration for hope and a future.  Together with this person, we declare supernatural peace, your  Jehovah Shalom in their hearts, minds, bodies, families as we abort, smash and nullify all plans of the enemy.   

                                                                                                                         

 

Father, we also declare Jesus Christ as our savior and renounce any activity not aligned with your loving will for this precious person reading this. 

         

                            

Lord, through the power you gave us, we cancel thoughts of defeat, suicide, destruction, self loathing, rage, violence, greed,  poverty, obsession, possession, witchcraft,  chaos, divisiveness

and more  (Luke 10:19).   GO now in Jesus name! 

We raise our  praise "Hallelujah" to you Father, our Way Maker!               
      

 

Father, thank you for loving prodigals as we decree them returned home and restored to their divine purpose. We  praise You for perfect laborers in their paths who lead them to you, Father. 

We thank you now Holy Spirit for signs, wonders and miracles for the person reading this in Jesus name (Mark 16:20)!  In places of devastation, destruction Holy Spirit, we thank you for miraculous intervention! 

Father, we also crush strongholds of persecution, possession, chaos, division in Jesus name in countries, cities, townships and more.  We don't know how but Father you do... as we decree the loosing of imprisoned, persecuted Christians.  We praise you Holy Spirit for your divine intervention.   
 

Lord, we decree divine direction for new jobs, businesses,  opportunities, promotion, housing and food.  We know nothing is impossible (Luke 1:37)  with you and align our thoughts with yours.   

 

We also decree protection of life ordained as your most precious creation Father God and celebrate what you celebrate Father God...birthrights for all lives. We smash and crush spirits of death and murder in Jesus Name. 

Father, we also decree supernatural protection, restoration, and direction for all serving on medical teams, first responders, those fighting disasters and for those fighting for God given freedoms in nations,  cities, provinces, townships and neighborhoods, whether in the air, water, ground or under water.  

          

Lord, again, with the power and authority 

you gave us Luke 10:19, we abort all schemes of

the enemy that divert your perfect will for all we pray for nationally and globally right now!

Together we praise you Father, as we decree and align ourselves with your will and dwell in your shelter because you Father are the Most High we trust  Psalms 91.  Thank you Father for being our shield our buckler.  

Amen and Amen as we expect your loving intervention Father for the person praying this right now.  Praise to you Father, our Almighty  God, our Adonai, our Way Maker!
