 "I'm not good enough, I'm too young, too old,  or I can't do this or that" is one of the many thought ploys that separate us from our identity in Christ. 

 That thinking stops me dead in my tracks from doing what God called me to do. 

Funny, today Pastor Jacob Sheriff from Victory Life Online Church  relayed satan uses any negative thought to derail us from "absolute belief in God's character" that Andrew Wommack explains in his "True Nature of God" teaching above.                                          

Char, one of my Canadian online church members commented this derailment is like  "emotional blackmail." Teacher Carlie Terradez adds that this "storm in a teacup tactic" gets us to focus on the storm, rather than God's abundant love and word.  

Both explanations  give me and you a reason to focus on what God says about us and put everything else under our feet!

Father God, thank you for all visiting here.  

Thank you for your continued resources and miracles for all in need during the tragedies throughout the year. Thank you Father as we speak strength, resources, provision, supernatural protection and healing for all families and those helping them in this New Year in Jesus name. 

Thank you for your promises and that we can expect signs and wonders according to your words that we speak (Mark 16:20).

Father, we also speak life into the impossible in Jesus Name. You are a God of the impossible, thus we speak to bodies and call them healed, jobs and call them manifested, income and opportunities we also call manifested, housing and food manifested in supernatural ways that are natural to you Father God.

Thank you Lord that your identity is our identity and that you love us. Thank you that it is your great desire to manifest your love and glory in us and through us.  We pray all these things Lord, In Jesus Name and give you all the glory, Amen.

GOD IS GRATEFUL FOR YOU!

GLAD YOU'RE VISITING! 

Can't say it enough -  it's great you stopped by!  

This month it's all about gratitude with a twist.

 Traditionally, Thanksgiving in the U.S. is a time Americans offer thanks for their blessings.  

But. . .   did you know God is grateful for you all the time?  

And that he loves you and me unconditionally? 

Not sure about God's love?  See Andrew Wommack's teaching God's Kind of Love to You; Unconditional Love  - a great way to launch the Christmas season.

SIMPLE AND PROFOUND 

Most of us (me included) focus on giving thanks for God's provisions -- a good thing.  

Yet during my quiet time with the Lord, the Father asked me, "Do you know what I'm grateful for?"

I waited in silence because my lightning fast mind couldn't come up with an answer.  

And I expected to hear something super spiritual and deep.  

His answer? "You, and all my kids."


Funny, I never thought to ask God that question. And I never expected His answer to be so simple and profound! 

The good news is God craves relationship with us all the time because He loves us.

CONSIDERATIONS AND TRANSFORMATION 

So why would the Father be grateful for you and me?   Carlie Terradez (who was healed of epilepsy and whose daughter Hannah was healed of eosinophilic enteropathy, a deadly autoimmune disease) points out reasons in her "I am" confessions here.  A few of them are:

• I was created by Him for good works (Ephesians 2:10)       

• I am chosen by God (John 15:16) 

• God himself dances over me with singing (Zephaniah 3:17) 

• I am always on God's mind, He thinks about me constantly (Psalms 139:17-18)

It makes no sense then, for God not to be grateful if he created us, chose us, dances over us, and thinks about us constantly.  I don't know about you, but that's my kind of party!

Yet,  there's more good news! 

We don't  have to be a squeaky clean super-dupers to be His vessel. 

 

I certainly am not.  God wants to manifest His Glory in you and through you  regardless of what you've been through.  

What's more...

 If God used Paul, a former murderer and terrorist of Christians, God can use anyone like Gerardo Hidalgo who was miraculously delivered from a death sentence.

More inspiring are miraculous Christmas transformations.

While there are many,  one that restores a crippled life on Christmas Eve is profound!

WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?

Welcoming you never gets old and this month 

 it's all about the question, "Who do you think you are?"

So who do you think you really are?  

Typically, the question is asked in a demeaning manner and we start defending  ourselves through our achievements, profession, race, gender and more.   

Yet, when  the question comes from our Heavenly Father who thinks about us constantly, it takes on a whole new meaning.


The first time I thought about that question all I could answer was, "I'm a Christian, loved by God and on my way to Heaven." 

 I had no idea of the breadth and depth of God's answer.     

                  

Or that is was rooted in God's love. 

What's more, when I heard Carlie Terradez explain it,  I was blown away because I had been missing out on who I really am.

SO WHO DOES GOD THINK YOU ARE? 

About ten years ago, I was driving home and grumbling because I hadn't accomplished what I had worked so hard for over the last ten years.  Suddenly I heard the Lord say, "When are you going to start seeing yourself like I do?"  

Stunned, I instantly knew what my problem was.  I was comparing myself to how others viewed me rather than how God viewed me. And, I had to learn how and what God thought about me. 

This was a process, that over time took me to Carlie Terradez "I am" confessions that God gave to her during one of her own pity parties.

To jump start your thinking, Carlie  offers a sample of who God thinks you are: 

"I am a party waiting to happen, 1 Peter 1:8!  Angels rejoice over me, demons flee from me, James 4:7, and God himself dances over me with singing, Zephaniah 3:17.  I am the bearer of good news, Isaiah 52:7, a minister of reconciliation, 2 Corinthians 5:18, the carrier of the King of Glory, Colossians 1:27" followed by 25 plus more "I am" statements! 

Access your powerful "I am" confessions  here. Recite them, think about them, ask God to confirm His I am statements to you in ways that are unique and personal to you and your thinking will change!

I didn't even know what authority I had because I had never heard of an identity in Christ!  

Now I've learned my real identity and authority (and yours too)

is a learning and lifestyle process rooted in a loving relationship with Christ. Praise God!

A PRAYER FOR MIRACLES & BLESSING       

Father God, thank you for all visiting here.                                    

We speak miracles of peace and comfort  for all families affected by untimely and tragic death regardless of where they live. 

 

We speak with the authority and power You gave us Father, in Luke 10:19.  

 

We also thank you Father for your continued miracles of provision,  restoration and  protection for all in need from wildfires, floods, drought & storms.  

We  thank you Father for those on the ground and in the air bringing hope and resources to those in need and speak strength and protection for them.

And Lord, for anyone  hurting or in need we speak healing to their bodies, families, hearts, income and opportunities in Jesus Mighty Name. 

Thank you for revealing yourself to them in ways personally unique to them In Jesus Mighty Name.  

We give you praise for all blessings and miracles as we expect signs and wonders according to 

Mark 16:20.

We pray all these things Lord, because we know you love those praying this prayer and think about them constantly.  Amen.

A Powerful Thought, Praise and Freedom

Knowing God thinks about us constantly is powerful! 

He wants to hear from us in our good, bad and ugly moments. 

 I've certainly had my share of the bad and ugly much of which was my own fault.  

For years, I ran from God because I thought he was mad and ready to drop a golden sledge hammer on my head.

 Over the years, I realized God is not mad at me or you,  and unloaded those sledge hammer thoughts I carried for too long.

And in the last year I learned giving Jesus my faults, our faults, is praise to the Father because of His ultimate sacrifice for me and you. He wants us to bring all we are to Him. 

Plus, we have access to Him 24/7 from anywhere. No  technology needed! Now that's good news!

Our Benefit Package and More Questions

More mind blowing was stumbling on a verse I didn't know was in the Bible, although there are plenty verses I don't know in the Bible.  I was re-reading Isaiah 53 vs. 5, asking God for more insight and was led to Isaiah 53, vs 10.

     "But the Lord was pleased to crush Him, putting him to grief. . ." (New American Standard) 

So shaken with the image of the Father being pleased, I questioned out loud "Really, Father?"  and kept re-reading because I couldn't wrap my brain around its true meaning.  

Weeks later, God showed me He was pleased because of the outcome of Jesus suffering rather than the suffering itself.   And that we have an awesome benefit package in which our flaws are forgotten.

My Promise

First, I am not as Pastor Greg Mohr says, "A super-duper" theologian. I am an ordinary person, who like many of you, sought answers about God's love, healing and hope. 

And. . .  I'm the first to admit, I don't know all the answers and never will. 

Yet, I've learned plenty and am excited to share my resources in our community blogosphere. (Last year I didn't even know what a blogosphere was!) As we begin our relationship, my promise is to:

• Arm you with information that gives you hope so you can pay it forward!   Here's a start.  Anyone out there over 60 need a powerful financial testimony?  I know I did and when I read Judy Rhode's story I was blown away - although supernatural testimonies should be our natural expectation. I work on that every day!  See Judy's testimony here.

• Provide you with powerful healing testimonies and free resource links of ordinary people transformed through many types of miracles through God's word the news rarely reports.  See Lance Weldgen's healing testimony - miraculously healed of fibromyalgia! 

• Encourage you to keep learning and expecting God to show you his awesome love for you in supernatural ways unique to you.  

An Answer, Something Funny, and God's Best

So you may be asking, "Why are you doing this?" 

Answer.  I vowed late summer 2015, I would share whatever I learned about God's healing when I was attacked with fatigue, flu like symptoms and more. There were times I thought I'd never get well.  

 

While the doctor still doesn't know what was wrong, I made a choice.  Stay sick and miserable, or dive into the Word. I chose the word and threw myself into Charis Healing School Sessions streamed live every Wednesday and watched three years of archives over and again. 

It was then I realized how ignorant, really ignorant I was about God's word. That was the moment my healing and learning journey started and continues today.  Curious?  Access the healing school sessions here.    Check out the menu for the Healing School sessions. 

Getting fit with the Word was and is a lifetime and life changing process about how much God really loves me and you. As Andrew Wommack says, "I've left, but I certainly have not arrived!"

Funny, at the time I had no idea this would turn into a blog, particularly since I resisted blogging for eight years, even though God told me through many people "You should start a blog!  My problem was I whined about what I didn't know rather than what I did know and what I had that God could work with.  Funny how God works. 

 

Ok, so the blog begins. . .  and God already knows how many of you will be healed, restored, inspired and aligned with God's divine purpose for you!  

Since my passion has always been providing people with powerful information,  this makes so much sense now.  I'm not sure where this blog is going, yet since it's for you, it's good.   

Thank you for helping me make this even better and for your forgiveness regarding any unintentional bloopers.  

 

But I digress, back to Getting Fit with the Word. The good news is no gym is needed!  However, a desire for God to show you how much He loves you is.
